Quick watercolour last night while making the hot chocolate for my sons… Sometimes I feel like a cafe forever serving up food but I am always thinking of higher things be it nature, art or the latest book I am reading hence the blackbird escaping from my head
Made another scrapbook for the summer photos and altered a box to keep the printed photos in prior to putting them in the album.
Lots of football cards feeling grateful that my youngest son gets so many party invitations
My sunflowers are still growing and the clover on the lawn..there is something so meditative and peaceful walking barefoot through clover not going to have a cut lawn again but a little meadow…

Isn’t it true when we have a family, we are the cook, waitress and bottlewasher…HaHa…but what memories you have made not only serving the hot chocolate….but painting a memory for them to have that is tangible. Love it.

I’m seriously impressed that you can produce a fabulous painting whilst conjuring up a culinary delight. I really need to take a leaf out of your book. I’d be thrilled if I could to that.
I’m also thinking I should let my lawn go into meadow land because we’ve really had such a wet summer that it’s been difficult to cut it. Great cards and scrapbook.
