glass half full

Well the sun is shining so thought I would do a quick sketch painting of a glass half full while I wait for the washing machine to finish..dont you just love hanging all the shirts on the washing line of a sunny day. To see the poem this collaborates with click here.

  1. Like that your glass is half full, not half empty. I think you should start a trend in the US… start hanging out your wash. We tend to take the easy way out here and need to go back to some of those basic pleasures. And, you could be our leader!!

  2. One of the best things about watercolor is that you can dash off a painting in a few spare minutes. This looks like some sort of mystical goblet to me.

  3. I miss hanging my laundry outside. Our rental isn’t equipped that way. My parent’s house had a clothesline. There are houses in the U.S. that hang their clothes on a line to dry. It’s just not so common anymore. Love the flow of color in your painting!
