Its been awhile since ..

I played with paint. Recently I tidied up my craft space and found some canvas boards and old paints so decided to have a go inspired by the birds at the feeder in my garden for the top painting and the blackbirds for the second painting..daisies will soon be appearing on my lawn now the weather has warmed up a bit.

Cards, crochet n bara brith

Now the weather is getting slightly milder I have been able to get in my craft corner in the conservatory so have been making cards this week for mums day which is this Sunday and also Welsh birthday cards too as it was St Davids day this week.  My mum is Welsh and she gave me a Welsh recipe book so decided to make bara brith today I will bake it when I cook the evening meal.  Yesterday I had a wander around the charity shops and stopped off for a coffee and a the surprise words that met me when I drank some dont forget everybody your awesome! This morning I went to a new knit and natter group which was really welcoming with poetry readings whilst we were knitting or in my case crocheting.  I have been having a go at rug making of an evening as I picked up a kit in a charity shop..Im not following the pattern but am thinking waves at the moment…have a nice week.

made some love cards using some new dies and old stamps

love crocheting waiting for my sons to leave for or return from school. I got this lovely wool from Aldi yesterday at a good price so decided to have a go at making the hexagonal cardigan I found on yarnutopia..worth checking out.

Just watching the sleet fall outside drinking my tea

Happy Tea Tuesday

I’ll start so I’ll finish..

I have been watching The Good Doctor so have been crocheting this blue basket while watching it..once it was finished I lined it with some nice fabric. This morning in craft group I made this little applique chicken perfect for my kitchen. I saw a bag of leather offcuts for sale at a good price so made a bracelet and decorated some gloves that I also crocheted while watching catch up tv as I can’t just sit there!

Made some cards for the splitcoast stamper challenges last night using some distress inks that I have not used for awhile.

Hard to photograph but I have used a clear diecut too for the simon says stamp layer it up challenge

So quite a creative week so far
