Happy mail n gardening

very pleased to be featured in the spring issue of Haute Handbags 100 favourites

dont you just love this quote..I was being a rebel at the weekend though and had coffee surrounded by trendy student types..think I was the oldest there at leaf bar off bold st, Liverpool

here is my ikea hack..I bought a few of these white holders but never really used them so decided to drill holes for drainage and screw them on to this trellis to cover a boring fence that was in shade so hardly anything grew there..going to fill the bottom troughs with different types of ferns I think.

Happy Tea or Coffee Tuesday

  1. Congrats! That is so exciting to get published. I love your bag too. I think I need to check out this edition. has it hit the stands yet or is it an April 1 release? And your garden hack is a very smart idea. I think once the plants take off and grow it will look quite nice. Your old fence will be green and flowering and a pretty view. Glad you shared your drink with us today, even if it meant you had to hang out with all the college kids…Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  2. Wow, many congratulations on being published! The bag you created is amazing and I enjoyed looking through the magazine with you. Great gardening too, you have transformed the fence with those planters and ferns will look beautiful in those troughs 😁. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J 😊

  3. Congrats on your publication! I love your pots on the trellis that will be so pretty whenever they grows.

  6. I hate my keyboard. It always quits about the time I need it most. Sorry I’m late visiting. I love your bag and was surprised I was able to see your FB video, since I’m not a member of FB. Some of the ones you flipped through were wonderful and I will go back later and stop them as you turn the pages. Congrats on being published again.

I LOVE your hack. This looks like a great way to bring a dull garden wall to life. Even the containers add to the fun.

I enjoyed your tea quote and your trendy cappuccino/coffee. The students may have been trendy, but I bet they admired you. Thanks for sharing your bag, you gardening hack, and your tea quote and coffee with us for T this Tuesday. Again, sorry I’m late visiting.

  7. Congratulations, Lorraine!!! I can see why they selected that handbag. It’s wonderful and whimsical.

That’s a great quote … if you’re a tea drinker. “Where there’s Diet Pepsi, there’s hope” doesn’t quite have the same ring πŸ˜‰

I love seeing Ikea hacks. That’s a good one. Wish we had Ikea in Mexico.

I was VERY late to T this week and am glad to see you’re still at the party – lol.

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
